Body
To connect to the screen:
Apple TV (Mac):
- Turn on the TV with the TV remote
- If the TV is not on TV input - HDMI 2, use the input button to change the source to HDMI 2
- If the TV is not displaying any information on HDMI 2, press the large button pad on the apple TV remote to wake it up
- Once you have confirmed the TV is on the correct input, make sure you Mac is on and connected to the SAU WIFI
- Click the dual slider icon in the upper right control bar of your Mac and click on screen mirroring
- Select Upper Ormston Conf. name from the list of available displays
- It may prompt you to enter the 4 digit code on the screen
- Your Mac should now be connected and displaying on the TV
- To check your audio connection click on the volume icon in your upper control bar and make sure the TV cart is selected as your output device
- Adjust volume on your computer to adjust what is being sent to the TV or adjust the TVs volume with the remote control
The tv screen is not matching my laptop screen:
If the TV screen is not the same as your Mac screen, go back into screen mirror setting in the upper right corner. Where Upper Ormston Conf is connected, make sure "Duplicate" is check marked, and not "Extended" screen.
HDMI Cable:
- Turn on the TV with the TV remote
- Ensure the TV is on input HDMI 1 for the HDMI cable
- Bring the HDMI cable over to the computer you are planning to use and make sure your computer is powered on and logged in
- If you do not have an HDMI port on your computer use an adapter to connect to an available port on your computer
- Connect the HDMI cable to your computer, it will likely take a moment for the screen to connect and adjust
- To check your audio connection click on the volume icon on your computer and ensure the HDMI connection to the TV is selected as your audio output
- Adjust volume on your computer to adjust what is being sent to the TV or adjust the TV's volume with the remote control
*Zoom Note
- If you are not able to get zoom audio to output to the TV click on the drop down menu on the microphone button in zoom and select the TV as your "speaker" device
