Collect the context of the error:
- hat OS, Browser, Network connection type is being used Where was the error or issue encountered (login, course ID, and location within the course: discussion board posting, grade book, etc.)
- Describe symptoms in as much detail as possible. For example: "When the user navigates to a form that has over 150 posts, and chooses expand all, it takes almost 30 seconds for the threads to show up"
- If there is an error message, please include it (the user might need to copy it and send it in an email).
- Can the problem be reproduced (does it happen every time, or is it occasional)?
- What steps have already been taken to work-around or resolve the issue? (ie. Try different browser, clear cache, make sure browser and java versions are up to date, check connection speed, close other running applications). If client issues have been ruled out in troubleshooting, escalate.
