Lenovo laptop battery says "Not charging"

Fix 1

1. Open Lenovo Power Management utility
2. Click Settings button
3. Check "Optimize For Battery Runtime" under "Battery Health"
4. Install the Lenovo Battery Firmware Update

If Fix 1 doesn't work, try Fix 2

1. Plug in laptop
2. Uninstall Lenovo Power Management / Energy Management Utility
3. Remove the battery
4. Re-install the battery
5. Turn off the laptop
6. Let the battery fully charge
7. If fixes it, Re-install the Lenovo Energy Management Utility

If Fix 2 doesn't work, try Fix 3

1. Turn off the computer
2. Remove the battery and AC adapter.
3. Press and hold the power button for 30 secs
4. Reconnect the AC adapter
5. Turn ON the computer
6. Continuously tap F2 to boot into the BIOS
7. When the BIOS loads, press F9 to load defaults
8. Press F10 to save and exit.
9. Boot into Windows (while still having just the AC adapter plugged-in)
10. Re-insert the battery.
