How to Embed a YouTube Video into the Blackboard Text Editor

Retrieving the Embed Code:
In your computer browser, navigate to
youtube.com
and go to the video you would like to embed.
Underneath the video player, click on the
Share
button. From the menu that appears, click on
Embed
.
In the new menu, copy the block of text that is under
Embed Video
by selecting the
Copy
button.
Placing the Embed Code into the Blackboard Text Editor:
Navigate to your Blackboard course and to the assignment or tool link.
In the text editor, click the
More...
button on the right of the menu bar and a second row should appear below. Click the
Source code
button.
In the new window that appears, paste the embed code from YouTube and click the
Save
button.
Your video is now represented in the text box. You can add text above or below it if you wish.
Click the
Submit
button.
