Finding Missing Network Drives

If you don't see some of the lettered network drives that you normally see (f, h, etc). try the following

  1. Restart your computer
  2. log into the computer
  3. Open up a web browser like Firefox or Chrome and confirm that you can access web sites. That demonstrates that your computer has a working internet connection.
  4. Click on the Start Menu
  5. In the search field, type cmd. DO NOT HIT RETURN
  6. Right-click on cmd
  7. Select Open as Administrator
  8. Type "gpupdate /force" (don't include the quotation marks)
  9. Press the Enter key
  10. Restart the computer
  11. Log into the computer.
