How To Enter Grades

Instructors can now enter mid-term and final grades on MySAU. This option is date-restricted by the Registrar's Office, so an instructor cannot enter mid-terms or finals unless it is the proper time. Also, instructors must enter ALL students' grades for a course in one sitting.

 

They cannot go back in and change/add grades at a later date–Instructors will need to contact the Registrar to have grades changed. 517-750-6516

Process:

  • Log into MySAU as an instructor
  • Click the Academics tab
  • Click the Faculty link on the left-hand side of the page
  • Click the View Course List link under the grade entry portlet
  • Make sure the appropiate term is selected (fall 2011…etc)
  • Click the course that needs grading (labs cannot be graded)
  • Select the appropriate grade from the drop-down menu next to the student's name
  • When finished entering grades, click Save at the bottom of the screen

The Date of Last Attendance is not required unless a student has a final grade of “U”.
