Permissions: Map G Drive

MAC:

1. Open the GO menu
2. Select Connect to Server
3. Type: smb://nfs/gdrive/*department-share*
4. For a list of the most common department shares click here
   1. Example: //nfs/gdrive/pz for the President’s office
   2. Example: //nfs/gdrive/sd for Student Development
5. If the path will be used frequently, click the + button to add to the favorites list. Or click and drag the folder to favorites list.
6. Click connect.
7. If Access is Denied see link below to Network Drive Permissions

Windows:

1. Click on Start
2. Right-click on My Computer
3. Select Map Network Drive
4. Select G from the drive letter drop down
5. For folder, type: \\nfs\gdrive\*department-share*
   1. For a list of the most common department shares click here
   2. Example: \\nfs\gdrive\pz for the President’s office
   3. Example: \\nfs\gdrive\sd for Student Development
6. Check the box that says Reconnect at Login.
7. Click Finish.
