Setting up Voicemail for the First Time

1. Lift the receiver
2. Press the “messages” button on the phone
3. When asked for a password, enter 123456
4. Press “4” for set up options
5. Press “1” for greetings and transfers
6. Record your greeting and press “#” when finished
7. To exit, press “*”

Checking Voicemail

1. Lift the receiver
2. Press the “messages” button on the phone
3. When asked for a password, enter 12345 (default) or your password if you changed it
4. Pressing the 1 key will play new messages

Checking Voicemails off Campus

1. On campus dial 9 and then 750-6600
2. Off campus dial (517) 750-6600
3. Press “*”
4. When asked to enter your ID, enter your phone extension followed by “#”
5. When asked for a password, use the one for your voicemail
6. Pressing the 1 key will play any new messages

Change Your Voicemail Password

1. Pick up the phone
2. Press the Messages button
3. Enter the voicemail password when prompted
4. Press the number 4 key for setup options
5. Press the number 3 key for personal settings
6. Press the number 1 key to change the password

Change Your Voicemail Greeting

1. Pick up the handset and press the Messages button
2. Enter the voicemail password when prompter
3. Press the number 4 button
4. Follow audio prompts
