Permissions: Map J Drive

This is the way to connect to the "J drive" on a windows computer. The J drive is a special network folder in CARS that lets people access reports that they have exported from inside of CARS. You must be on campus or on the VPN to connect to the J drive.

1. Click on Start
2. Right-click on My Computer
3. Select Map Network Drive
4. Select J from the drive letter drop down
5. For folder, type: \\alf\homes
6. Check the box that says Reconnect at Login.
7. Click Finish
