Using powerpoint from a flashdrive

When using a Flash Drive on the Chromebox, simply insert the device into an available USB Port. Once inserted, you’ll notice a pop-up notification in the bottom right corner advising that the device has been plugged in and is now accessible. You can click on the link in the notification to view the files in a new window. If you miss this opportunity or accidentally close the window, click the Search Button (bottom-left corner), select All Applications then choose Files. You’ll notice that this will be a recently used item going forward when clicking on the Search Button.

Open your presentation in Google sheets

Now open your Presentation file and you can expand your presentation to full screen and begin. Note: These steps only work to open a PowerPoint in Google sheets. This will work fine for the majority of presentations, but they may not be formatted correctly or the fonts may be wrong. If you have a problem with the way the presentation is formatted, move on to the next steps to open it in Office 365 online.
