These directions are for setup on a personal windows device or a SAU owned device.
These steps work on both Windows 10 and Windows 11.
- Click Start (the windows icon in your taskbar)
- In search bar or in the start menu, type \\print
View a list of SAU Main Campus public and dorm printers here
- If done correctly, the command should look like this:
4. A list of all available printers will appear. If you need to search for a specific printer you can click in the search bar in the top right corner and type in the printer name there. It should look like this:
5. Finally, double click on the printer you would like to add. It should automatically pull the necessary printer drivers and install the printer for you!
6. When trying to print, you should now see the printer you added. As an example, this is what it would look like when trying to print to the printer "libup1" from Firefox:
