Video Cohorts
LifeSize Video Cohort Equipment Troubleshooting
LifeSize Video Cohort Equipment Troubleshooting
Video Issues
Make sure cables are connected correctly (on both ends)
Green and yellow cables go into the HDMI port 1 on each corresponding TV monitor
Red goes to video camera
Blue goes to laptop computer for audio/video source
Videos/DVD must be played separately at the different sites (not streaming through the cohort)
Try rebooting by disconnecting the power cables from each piece of equipment
Try calling a different remote site and seeing if the call goes through
Audio Issues
Make sure cables are connected correctly
Blue cable goes into the audio jack on the laptop (headset jack)
If you are getting feedback, turn off any blue tooth connections
If the phone disc is not giving the proper sound or it is making noises, unplug the Red/Green cable from the phone disc and plug it back in
Make sure that audio is not muted on the DVD player, phone disc, or laptop
Try rebooting
If sound goes out and you cannot get it back, use the phones between the sites on speakerphone
